RULES AND CONDITIONS

  1. This championship is confined to Registered Connemara Three year Old Fillies. The progeny of Registered Connemara Sire & Registered Connemara Dam.
  2. Exhibitors In both the Qualifier and the Final must have the CPBS Passport ready for inspection prior to entry to the judging ring. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to immediate disqualification.
  3. More than one Filly may be selected at any qualifying Show to compete in the Final providing the judges & the ISA agree the standard of warrant such selection.
  4. One of the Judges at the final must be from CPBS judges list.
  5. Ponies qualified for the final are not to enter any other clases at Ballinasloe Show.
  6. Plaiting of manes and tails is not allowed for qualifier or final.
  7. The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show.

These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A. rules.

Ballinasloe Horse and Agriculture Show is affiliated to the IPS

Exhibitors please note:

  • It is a requirement for all equines to travel with their passports.
  • Passports must be produced on show day.
  • Equine premises number must accompany all entries.
  • While every effort has been made to avoid classes clashing, events on Show Day may cause classes to clash.
  • Competitors are asked to be on time

Ring 2 All Ireland Championship 11:00 am
Ring 3 Registered Connemara In Hand 11:00 am
Ring 4 Riding Horses 11:00 am
Ring 5 Young Horses 11:00 am
Ring 6 Working Hunter 9:30 am
Loose Jumping Competition at 2:30pm approx in main sand arena

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Rings will begin on time. Please be on time for your classes to keep things moving.
  • It is up to competitors to be at the ring for the start of their classes.
  • Horse riding is a dangerous sport and all competitors in ridden classes are strongly advised, for their own safety, to wear appropriate head gear which complies to up-to-date safety standards.
  • Exhibitors are advised to ensure that their public liability policy covers the exhibition of livestock at Public Shows.
