Passports must be available for inspection.

Equine Section - Opening Notes

Ballinasloe Horse Show is affiliated to the IPS

Exhibitors please note:

  • It is a requirement for all equines to travel with their passports.
  • Passports must be produced on show day.
  • Equine premises number must accompany all entries.
  • While every effort has been made to avoid classes clashing, events on Show Day may cause classes to clash.
  • Competitors are asked to be on time
  • ISA 5% deduction will be collected from all prize money

Ring 2 All-Ireland Championship 11:00 am
Ring 3 Registered Connemara In Hand 11:00 am
Ring 4 Riding Horses/Young Horses/Mares and Foals    11:00 am
Ring 6 Working Hunter 9:30 am

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Rings will begin on time. Please be on time for your classes to keep things moving.
  • It is up to competitors to be at the ring for the start of their classes.
  • Horse riding is a dangerous sport and all competitors in ridden classes are strongly advised, for their own safety, to wear appropriate head gear which complies to up-to-date safety standards.
  • Exhibitors are advised to ensure that their public liability policy covers the exhibition of livestock at Public Shows.
Loose Jumping Competition - Opening Notes

To be held in the main sand arena @ 3 pm approx

NOTE:

 

  • To be judged on confirmation and jumping ability. 
  • There will be two judges adjudicating each section individually and both scores will be totaled at the end to determine the placings.
  • Passports must be available for inspection.
